Product valuing up to $70,000 to be used to support their business over a period of 12 months:

Telecommunications services: sponsored by WorldxChange

Marketing/Branding assistance: sponsored by Republik

Legal Services: sponsored by HGM Legal

Accounting Software and support: sponsored by MYOB

Account management support over a period of 12 months from WorldxChange, Republik, HGM Legal and MYOB, to ensure best possible value from the products they can provide.

Incubators or University TTO’s can enter up to 2 start-ups each.
Start-up businesses must enter through an Incubator or University TTO.
Start-up businesses should be in their early to first year stage of their business.
Start-ups can be in any field, they are not limited to the technology industry.
No entries will be accepted after the closing date of 1 March 2010.
The TIG reserves the right not to accept any entries.
Start-up key contact person must be resident in New Zealand or New Zealand citizens.
The start-ups must be available to present their business concept to the panel live at SkyCity Convention Centre on 13 March 2010.
Submission of an entry confirms the start-ups compliance with, and consent to, these Rules and Conditions of Entry.
The TIG and sponsors will have the right to print the name and business concept of any start-up in publicity in respect of the competition and all matter incidental thereto.
The prizes must be used by the winners to support their business.
The 12 month period for the prizes commences from the date the winners are first announced.
The TIG will have the right to interpret these conditions and to determine all issues arising out of this contest. Any such interpretations and determinations shall be final.
The decision of the judges will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
